On 13th February, 1915, the 1st Honourable Artillery Company battalion of 7 Brigade, 3rd Division left their billets in Locre and moved into the front line at Kemmel where they remained until relieved on 19th February. According to Commonwealth War Graves Commission's trecords Paul Holman was killed on 15th February but the battalion diary rcorded thjat he was killed during the night of 16/17th February when on sentry duty. |
